Story: Wonderbrass

Author: Jenny - Cardiff

Nearly 10 years ago now I joined Wonderbrass as a way of getting back into music and it’s genuinely changed my life. I’ve formed really deep relationships with people with whom I’d never have crossed paths, if it weren’t for the band.

The fact that people of all ages, races, genders and backgrounds all come together for the shared love of music is amazing – you can really see how much you have in common with someone who, at first, seems so completely different to you.

We’ve travelled across the UK and Europe together, run loads of different musical projects together and generally just had a blast. I think everyone involved feels part of a community.
